Garota de Ipanema

Garota de Ipanema has a nice view, overlooking the tiny Praia da Urca. This is a family restaurant that serves traditional Brazilian fare at affordable prices. Their weekday lunch specials are particularly good values. Two of the locals' favorites include Brazilian Churrasco and lemon caipirinhas. The steak and chopp is also quite flavorful. It's good eating at a place that offers one of the best views of the beach of any restaurant in Rio. Keep in mind that Garota de Ipanema gets quite full at night.
