Nova Capela

Nova Capela is considered a leader in Brazilian low cuisine (i.e. bar food). The facilities themselves might be modest, but the food keeps bringing people in. For instance, in 2008, a local publication awarded the bar with the best bar meal for its lamb with broccoli rice with garlic. Also quite good: their supreme codfish cake. Their drinks are first-rate as well, offering the most popular beers among Brazilians. No need to worry about leaving early, either: Officially the bar is open until 5 a.m.
