Thanks for visiting my page! I'm 36, estranged from my wife of fiveyears living with one of my two sons in Eugene,Oregon. I currently work out of the home, consulting internet and PC connectivitysolutions.
KG7FU, for those who don't know, is my Amateur Radio Callsign. AmateurRadio is my primary hobby. I operate several Packet Radio nodes in andEugene, including a 9600bps link between Eugene and Salem. I am into "WeakSignal" VHF/UHF operating, HFmobile and packet radio, among other facets of this most excellentavocation. Among my other hobbies are Marineand Tropical fishkeeping , model rocketry, homebrewingbeer, 4 Wheel Off-Road trips in our Blazer and my 1963 Harley Davidson"Ironhead" Sportster motorcycle. I also enjoy teasing those who can't understandwhy or how I can do whatever you can do on your Windows system with mysetup!
Coming soon will be a full-featured BBS, CLX Packet Cluster Clone, internetgateway and "soft" node-stack, all using Linux (try THAT with Windoze!).Stay tuned for more information. Also, I plan on putting several radioconstruction project pages up here so you can get an idea of the progressionof a amplifier, antenna or whatever, from idea to working accessory. Clickherefor works in progress. Current projects include 1kW input amplfiers for50MHz and 432MHz, based on the Eimac 4CX250B metal ceramic tetrode tubes.Jim, KI7AY is constructing similaramps, single-tube versions, so we're learning from each other as the projectsprogress and mature.
Nearly 12 years of 50MHz operating condensed intoa neat package for your perusal. My logs used to be a mess, but I thinkI've got them about 90% off paper and into the computer. Click here tosee my 6m Log project. It's accurate through the beginning of August, 1999 and covers most yearsback to 1988.
Be sure and check out my Mobileeringpage and Check out photos of the world famous N7WMW Screwdriver antennamounted on my mobile rig.

For the not-so-squemish, there's my HamRadio Politics pages. Be sure and check out the Beer and Recipe pages too..
