The Cariocas are sports lovers to the tee and with the city blessed by mountains, beaches and the sea, vacationers have a choice of sports including diving, snorkeling, hiking and beach soccer and volleyball, to name a few. Chances are, you may soon turn from a ‘gringo’ to a Carioca, once you spend a few days in Rio de Janeiro.
